The art looks okay. The characters bodies are a little skimpy, although I do see you put a lot of detail into the facial expressions. Animations are simple; not a lot of action in terms of what they're doing or the technical aspects of the animation itself. Bending does make it look a little uncanny, so if that was what you were going for, then it works.

But as for your "Everyone will understand it differently" comment, I personally can't understand anything without context. Why are there people on the islands? What's with the dude in the chains? Why the lighthouse? Leaving things open-ended is one thing, but don't expect anyone to come to their own conclusions if they have no idea what's going on in the first place.

The music is nice and low-key, which compliments the gloomy atmosphere of the video you're trying to portray. However, you really should credit them in case someone might like the song and want to look it up on their own time.

Thanks for the criticism, I heard you)

To be honest, I think that this Kony situation is overblown... There are other generals besides him, like Bosco, for example. However, all I hear about is "OMFG, KONY NEEDS TO BE STOPPED!"

The animation was a little crude, as well as short, but it has a point.

Zachary responds:

Yeah, we really need to stop Hitler imo.

Oh, MAN...

Matt Mercer AND Lenkobiscuit...
...That is some beautiful stuff right there.

Excellent voice acting and animation per usual, guys. Thanks.
Humor was amusing, too.

An intelligent satire...

Personally, I think that you're like Newgrounds' Personal "George Orwell" figure (That, Or "Edgar Allen Poe", I can't decide!). The reason that I like this film is that it's VERY reminiscent of a mix between the novel "1984" and the Holocaust, where those that question the Government are brutally assimmilated. The atmosphere and the music (Performed by Famed Avante-Garde Artists "Godspeed You! Black Emperor") Match PERFECTLY. The ending is both creepy and symbolic, representing the possible fact that the leaders of humanity... may not be so human after all. What comes AFTER that is the humorous reassurance that they're either Evil on purpose... Or just blatantly idiotic on accident.

A must-watch made by a master, I must say.
Thank you, AND GODSPEED, YOU BLACK EMPEROR!

SPOILER ALERT!

The world's most comfy ass PLUS The seat of a chair EQUALS The world's most comfterable chair! That's...creepy. But logical.

In all due respect, this was a good short , what with respectable voice-acting (Thank you, Arin!) and unpredictable punchline. Good length, too!

Hell!

I Have read the story, And I'm impressed that you could meld Mario's light-hearted tones with Dante's Classic tales of Damnation. I'm SLIGHTLY dissapointed that I didn't see the Malebolge and It's inhabitants, the Malebranche (Who I guessed would be covered by the koopa kids), but I guess you had a good enough reason to skip that section. And it's good to see original illustrations rather opposed to typical sprite animation. They're more original in my opinion. Nevertheless, I take this tale as a sort of "Inferno for beginners". Nice job.

Erm...

Not to be a negative nuisance or anything, but I found one of the sketches to be a bit anti-semetic... I respect the randomness and all but Aren't you afraid that you could be offending some people?

RadicalWrongDoers responds:

We have a Jew in the team so it's fine.
We are also free to make homosexual jokes and Australian jokes.

We really need a black guy in our crew.

It's fine.

edit: we have tew jews

edit2: omg really? sweet

Did I see...

"Shaun of the dead" in there? I mean I know this is an AWESOME flash film on every account, but I was just wondering if I was right on that account. Perfect zombie film on every account, even if the Gorillaz song (One of my favorite bands, I might add) was a tad bit cut up.

LittleLuckyLink responds:

Yeah, that guy screams for 2 solid minutes I wasn't gonna do that.
And yes you did see shaun of the dead.

Well!

I say, this one is a rather informative AND entertaining flash film! Truth be told, I'd reccomend this to the video games section immediately, despite some small sound problems.

Personally...

I think the animation is more of "Roald Dahl-meets-Gorillaz" of sorts, well, I like that. I'm not trying to criticize you or anything... BUT 'stop the evil doctor & save the world'...well that git has been done to death.
Now the Mecha-crotch twist...THAT is original!
Kudos to Jiz-erp, Jezza.

lenkalamari responds:
