I Have read the story, And I'm impressed that you could meld Mario's light-hearted tones with Dante's Classic tales of Damnation. I'm SLIGHTLY dissapointed that I didn't see the Malebolge and It's inhabitants, the Malebranche (Who I guessed would be covered by the koopa kids), but I guess you had a good enough reason to skip that section. And it's good to see original illustrations rather opposed to typical sprite animation. They're more original in my opinion. Nevertheless, I take this tale as a sort of "Inferno for beginners". Nice job.

The utilization of the right projectiles, the death-defying archetecture, it's all here, just a bit bloodier!

I loved the game, very simple, yet innovative at the same time.
I was wondering, in the sequel (If there is a sequel) if you could not only be able to choose from preset monsters, but also make-your-own-monsters as well, with no limitations whatsoever!
...Of course, if you choose custom, you can't submit high scores. Oh, well.
And perhaps a sandbox mode could suffice?

Personally, I find this game likable.
the graphics are impressive, even though they are borrowed.
The mechanics are a bit interesting, as when your character's health is in the red (low) zone, the super attacks have destructive capabilities.
The only embarrassing parts of it are the controls and the fact that it's only a demo. The controls are pretty cramped and they also handle pretty sloppily.
All in all, I like this game and I hope there's more games like this from you.

I am amazed that such choices can result in such an apocalypse as the "Mutually Assured Destruction" of the whole planet. While the gameplay was somewhat impressive, I found it awfully repetitive most of the time (The news-flashes were interesting and semi-humorous). The storyline was what really got me hanging. Ultimately exquisite to the highest point of realism. Good job, sir. you've scared me for life. (Yes, scared!)
